- Graduated with my Bachelors Degree from Sam Houston State University in
1998
- Taught Kindergarten for five years.
- Received my Master Reading Teacher certification from Stephen F. Austin
- Certified Irlen Screener
- Three years as a reading/writing interventionist in JISD
- Instructional Strategist at Joe Wright for 7 years
