My name is Maria Galvan. I graduated May 2009  from the University of Texas at Tyler with a Bachelors Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. I hold two
teaching certifications; EC-4 Generalist and Bilingual Education.  I've worked at Joe Wright Elementary since I graduated, first teaching Prekindergarten, then Kindergarten and finally fourth grade.  This will be my 12th year teaching at Joe Wright.  I truly enjoy teaching Spanish Language Arts, science and social studies in our bilingual program.
